BANCC 2025 Annual Conference

  • The 2025 BANCC Annual Conference is now open for registration!

    The Conference will take place on Friday 25th April 2025 at Liverpool John Moores University. The 2025 Conference theme is Integrated Care in Cardiovascular Nursing.

BCS/BANCC 2025 Cardiac Nurse Specialist Symposium

  • This one day course will aim to provide nurses with the knowledge and skills for developing their clinical career as a nurse in cardiology. This face to face course will be delivered through a blend of clinical teaching, advice on careers development and management skills. The course will be run jointly by nurses and doctors and will be built into a one day programme featuring excellent speakers and sessions for interactive discussion.

BCS 2025 Annual Conference

  • The British Cardiovascular Society Annual Conference is the UK’s leading and largest cardiovascular event. It attracts over 2,000 cardiovascular healthcare professionals, predominantly cardiologists, but also including basic and translational scientists, nurses, cardiac physiologists and scientists, and primary care staff. BANCC are invited each year to present and deliver sessions at the conference.

Heart UK 2025 Annual Meeting

  • HEART UK’s annual meeting on coronary prevention and dyslipidaemia will take place at Warwick University Tuesday 8th to Thursday 10th July 2025.

    HEART UK are also pleased to announce pay-on-demand access for HCPs to access presentations from the 37th Annual Medical & Scientific conference 2024.

Imperial Valve Cardiovascular Course 2025

  • The Imperial Valve Cardiovascular Course is course will take place from 25–28 February 2025 at The King’s Fund, London.

    In addition to each of the themed days, there is a Nurses Forum which will feature practical sessions and lectures, designed to address key challenges faced by cath lab nurses.

The Practical Application of Genomics Conference

  • The conference will be held virtually on Thursday 13th March 2025. It will focus on the transformative role of genomics in enhancing clinical practice and patient care.

    It will be chaired by Dr Tootie Bueser, Director for Nursing & Midwifery, South East Genomic Medicine Service Alliance, Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, NIHR Senior Clinical Research Practitioner, King’s College London.

    The event will provide an update on how genomic medicine can be used now in your clinical practice to improve early diagnosis, more precise diagnosis, more effective treatments, fewer adverse reactions, and demonstrate eligibility for clinical trials and prognostic/preventative approaches. The sessions will provide practical guidance on how you can embed genomics into your service and will explore the ethical challenges and how you support patients who have received a genomically-informed diagnoses. Participants will gain valuable insights into integrating genomic knowledge into everyday practice, leading to improved patient outcomes and innovative treatment approaches.
